Website Accessibility Fix Plan

Find the accessibility problems on your website. Get clear instructions to fix them.

For $249 CAD, we test your homepage and every type of public task your website offers: contacting you, donating, registering, booking, applying and buying. We check each task on desktop and mobile, then send a Fix Plan showing every verified problem we found, the exact affected page and clear instructions your developer can use.

When the same form, booking flow or checkout repeats across many products, events or locations, we test representative examples and state exactly what we reviewed.

See a Sample Report

No login needed. You own the report. You can give it to any developer.

Preview of the Fix Plan your developer receives. The public sample uses a controlled sample website, not a named customer.

A clear plan your developer can use

We do not send you a raw list of scanner warnings. We review the evidence and turn it into a clear Fix Plan of verified problems.

  • The most important problems first
  • The exact pages and elements affected
  • Screenshots and technical proof where useful
  • A plain-language explanation of who may be affected
  • The accessibility rule connected to each problem
  • Clear instructions for your developer
  • Steps to check that each change worked
  • Repeated problems grouped together when one shared change may fix several pages

If we cannot review enough of the agreed scope to produce a useful Fix Plan, we refund your payment.

Here is what one finding looks like

Example from our controlled sample website

Problem
Unnamed header search.
Where
The same unnamed header search appears in the header on four different page types.
Why
Accessibility-tree result: Name: (none). Role: button. A person using assistive technology that follows the accessibility tree may not know that this control opens search.
Developer
Add a short accessible name, such as “Search,” to the shared header button.
Check
Check the control in the browser’s accessibility tree. It should show the name Search and the role button on every page that uses the same header.

Send us your website. We send you the plan.

  1. You send us the public website

Enter the website address during Stripe checkout. We review the homepage and every type of public task the site offers: contacting you, donating, registering, booking, applying and buying.

  2. We review each available path

We check each of those tasks on desktop and mobile. We do not log in and we do not make a real purchase, donation, booking, or application.

  3. We test the pages and review the evidence

We use accessibility-testing software and repeatable browser and keyboard checks. We review the results, keep verified problems, and group repeated problems.

  4. You receive the Fix Plan

The report shows the verified problems, where they appear, why they matter, what your developer should change, and how to check the work afterward.

  5. You give the plan to your developer

You own the report. You can send it to your current developer, web agency, internal team, or another provider you choose.

Free scanners find warnings. We turn the evidence into a plan.

Tools such as WAVE, axe, and Lighthouse are useful. Their raw results can be technical, repetitive, and limited to one page at a time.

Ontario Access Check reviews the evidence, groups repeated problems that share one underlying cause, and puts the work in a useful order. Your developer receives clear instructions instead of an unexplained list of warnings.

A practical first step for Ontario organizations

Ontario Access Check is designed for businesses, non-profits, public-sector organizations, and web agencies that need a clear starting point for website accessibility work.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I receive?

You receive a Fix Plan covering every verified problem we find on your homepage and every type of public task your website offers: contacting you, donating, registering, booking, applying and buying. The report shows where they appear, why they matter, what your developer should change, and how to check that the work was completed correctly.

Which pages do you review?

For $249 CAD, we test your homepage and every type of public task your website offers: contacting you, donating, registering, booking, applying and buying. We check each task on desktop and mobile. When the same form, booking flow or checkout repeats across many products, events or locations, we test representative examples and state exactly what we reviewed. We do not log in or submit a real purchase, donation, booking, or application. Third-party paths are identified. If we cannot review the public site responsibly at this price, we tell you before starting. You may approve a clearly disclosed representative sample or receive a full refund.

Is this only an automated scan?

No. We use automated tools and repeatable browser and keyboard checks to collect evidence. We then review the results, keep verified problems, and group repeated problems before they appear in your report. The service does not include a complete manual audit or comprehensive testing with assistive technology.

Can my current developer use the report?

Yes. The report explains what to change and how to check the result. You own the Fix Plan and may give it to your current developer, internal team, web agency, or another provider.

Does the $249 include changing my website?

No. The $249 product is the review and Fix Plan. It does not include making changes to your website.

Is this a certificate or a complete accessibility audit?

No. The Fix Plan is a focused accessibility review and practical set of instructions. It is not legal advice, certification, or a guarantee that the entire website meets every legal or technical requirement.

Does this complete our 2026 accessibility compliance report?

No. Ontario businesses and non-profits with 20 or more employees must file an accessibility compliance report by December 31, 2026. The government report is a separate filing. The Fix Plan can help your organization identify and plan website work, but it does not answer, submit, certify, or replace the filing. The Fix Plan does not complete that government filing.

We have fewer than 50 employees. Can we still use the service?

Yes. The service can still help identify barriers that make it harder for people to contact, donate, register, book, apply, buy, or use your website. For Ontario businesses and non-profits, the public website requirement generally applies when the organization has 50 or more employees. Designated public-sector organizations are covered separately. We will not tell a private business or non-profit that Ontario’s public website rule applies when it does not.

Do you need our login or website password?

No. We review public pages only. We do not need a login, CMS access, or passwords. We do not make a real purchase, donation, booking, or application, and we do not submit forms.

What about PDFs, logged-in systems, and third-party widgets?

PDFs and logged-in systems are outside the launch scope. Third-party paths are identified. When a path leaves your website or is controlled by an outside provider, we report only what the saved evidence supports and say so in the Fix Plan.

What if you find only a few problems?

We report only verified problems. We do not add weak findings or irrelevant pages to make the report look longer. If we cannot review enough of the agreed scope to produce a useful Fix Plan, we refund the payment.

What if a finding is wrong?

Tell us which material fact appears wrong. We review the saved evidence and issue one corrected version. If we cannot deliver a useful corrected Fix Plan, we refund the payment.

How long does it take?

We deliver within two business days after we confirm the available paths and confirm that the public pages are reachable.

Is Ontario Access Check part of the government?

No. Ontario Access Check is an independent Ontario business. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Ontario.

Who owns the business?

Jordan Nabigon owns Ontario Access Check. It is an Indigenous-owned Ontario business, and Jordan is a member of Long Lake #58 First Nation.

Accessibility, privacy, terms, and refunds

Accessibility statement

Ontario Access Check builds this site and its HTML reports against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an internal quality standard. That is our own bar, not an extra Ontario legal claim. The page is meant to work with a keyboard, visible focus, text resize, reflow, reduced motion, and clear headings. Feedback: hello@ontarioaccess.ca.

Privacy

We use privacy-conscious first-party measurement to understand whether our pages and checkout are working. We do not use advertising trackers or sell browsing information. We keep raw page captures only as long as needed to produce and support the Fix Plan and may be deleted on request. Read the privacy notice.

Terms and refunds

Each order covers one public website. A full refund applies if a useful plan cannot be produced. Read the service terms.
